I know...I do...I haven't been around here lately. The last two months have seemed like a blur, but a good blur. There are lots of images just waiting for me to edit them...and many clients anxiously waiting for their photos, and I'm excited to deliver them. I'm also looking forward to sharing all of them with all of you!
Last week was my vacation (an actual, for real vacation). It was a wonderful, wonderful week - filled with many of my most favorite people in this world. We spent a good deal of the time swimming and relaxing by the lake, having many conversations, and sharing in some very memorable moments. I'll be telling some stories in greater detail in a few days, but for now a few photos for you.
After spending a week at my lake house in NJ with 10 people, I am at my house for a few days by myself. The first night was sad...being alone with the silence surrounding me. I cannot remember the last time I was at my NJ home, by myself for this long. Last night I enjoyed a fire in the fireplace and felt incredibly comfortable and very much at peace in my childhood home. I do love it here.
This morning the rain has stopped, but the wind has picked up. It's still a beautiful day and a beautiful view. And, I get to spend time with my cat Rascal...whose new favorite spot is a pedestal on our back porch.

Two weekends ago Peter and I were in Wellfleet, MA - another place that makes me feel very much at peace. We were photographing Julia & Peter's wedding. It was an absolutely gorgeous Cape day. We both felt very lucky to be a part of their celebration. Many more photos to come, but here are two for you now.

Check back in just a bit for Shannon & Amanda's engagement shoot at Castle Island!
