Immediately following the ceremony, Beth & Eric walked up the aisle and across the lawn to the pond behind the house for a few moments of "oh my gosh...we're married" time. They spoke to no one except each other and took everything in that just happened. We were able to capture all of those feelings - along with some great portraits.
Then it was time for the celebration!
Everything was so well done - from the food to the table tops. They even covered the ugly silver tent poles with birch bark. Perfect for the overall aesthetic, but also for the photographs.
Later in the evening, as the sun was setting, Bethany and her bridesmaids and I went out to Main Street in Falmouth and had a bit of fun.
Beth had envisioned this one shot that she wanted to take, and I'm so glad we pulled it off (especially without anyone getting hurt). Running in high, high heels is a feat, to be sure.
Then it was back to the party for lots and lots of dancing.
Beth & Eric...thank you so very much for including us in your celebration. We had a wonderful time!
