One of the best decisions I made last year was to attend Justin & Mary's Spread the Love Tour. I was sitting at home in NJ the day after Thanksgiving. I decided I was going to treat myself to some blog reading when I happened upon a new post by Justin & Mary. They had put the STL tickets on sale for Black Friday - it was an incredible deal - one I could not possibly pass up. I told Peter I was going to do it...I was going to purchase a ticket that moment. When he heard how great the price was he decided he would take off of work that day and come with me.
A few months later we anxiously and excitedly made our way to Lens Pro to Go for Spread the Love. I cannot express to you how absolutely wonderful it was. Justin & Mary not only passed on a mass amount of information, but they also inspired us to really 'go for it' this year. And go for it we did! I recently looked at the notes and 'to do's' that I gave to myself that night when we got home from STL. I have accomplished ALL of them...and some of them seemed overwhelming at the time. But that's what Spread the Love does - J&M make you realize that nothing is impossible. There may be a few hurdles along the way, but that's fine...you just have to jump over them, or maybe crawl under them...or find a different path - but you can get to where you want to be.
I HIGHLY suggest going - to anyone who owns a business. This talk isn't just for photographers - it can inspire anyone who wants to move further in their business and career - and life, really.
