It was around this time of year sixteen years ago that I was beginning to get a better understanding of my college roommate. We knew each other for a year already – you know, because we were in the same a cappella group. Oh, college. Oh, a cappella. Living together definitely brought us closer. I don’t believe we ever fought. If anything, there was a lot of late night giggling. She was by far my favorite roommate, and has continued to be my friend ever since. We’re the kind of friends who can go months without talking and pick right back up. Those friends are keepers.
Whitney has been there for me through the lows and through the celebrations, and I can’t wait to be there with her this weekend when she marries Robert. Robert and Whitney work so well together. They have definitely met each other's match. I’m incredibly happy for them, and I know I’ll be tearing up behind the camera.
We met them when they had a mini-vacation on the Cape a few weeks back for a quick warm-up shoot. These are a few of my favorites.
